Kid Investor Workshop & Club – Ages 9-15yrs
Coming this fall!
Move over Warren Buffet - Our class will discover the amazing stock market and how it works. Using Yahoo Finance we set up a portfolio. We investigate companies like Disney, Apple, McDonalds, Under Armor, etc.
We discuss the strategy that we use while we learn to monitor companies and our stock. We learn the importance of saving early and introduce a cool way for them to look at corporate AMERICA. Why do companies sell stock? Why do people invest.
- We have a special guest that will explain the stock market and his tips will make you an even smarter investor. You will be able to track your portfolio at home and we may even start a once a month YOUNG INVESTORS CLUB – if you like watching the stock market! Grab a friend and sign up

ACT Test PREP
A Six-Class Series
Class sizes limited to 8 or less per session

What better way to take the edge off of the ACT exam than to prepare and have fun doing it!
We introduce speed reading skills and test taking tips and pay special attention to preparing for the math and writing sections. We break it into sections and practice for the test!
The test process will be easier once we give you the
TOOLS and CONFIDENCE to do your BEST!
Here are some samples of our class topics:
- Speed reading, Comprehension, and How to take a test. The students will come away with a new understanding of what the test is all about. There are tricks to test taking and what better way to complete the test than to work on your Reading and Comprehension. Our instructor will go over Speed Reading exercises and sharpen your skills so you can make the most of your time!
- How to write an Essay, How to jazz it up with detail, Go over samples and write some of your own! Don't make it harder than it is. Express your thoughts. We show you how to plan and produce a great essay!
- Math ... yes, even Algebra! We break it down by working sample tests and taking time to work out the problems that we miss. Our instructor looks for the problem areas and then we attack them as a team, all learning together! Refresh your skills and learn a few new ones!
- We practice sample tests, work sample problems and even practice our essay writing working together as a team. When given the knowledge and tools needed, your child will gain confidence and chase away the test day jitters!
